Pompey Women start their pre-season campaign with a trip to Swindon Town this afternoon (2pm kick-off).
Jay Sadler's side had been due to start their preparations last week, only for a sceduled clash with Maidenhead to be postponed.
The Blues last met their next opponents during the 2017/18 campaign, when they faced off twice in the space of a week.
They ran out 5-0 winners in the home fixture, which was held at Nyewood Lane, as Daisy McLachlan and Sammy Quayle added to a Shannon Albuery treble.
And there was a convincing 3-0 victory at Cinder Lane, with McLachlan, Quayle and Katie James all finding the target.
Swindon were relegated that season and currently ply their trade in the National League South West Division.
They are managed by Dan Jones, who was formerly assistant manager of Pompey's development team.
Now the Blues will look to get their pre-season schedule off to a positive start at New College (SN3 1AH) today.
