The Pompey squad – including new signings James Bolton, Paul Downing, Ellis Harrison and Sean Raggett – commenced their 2019/20 pre-season on Thursday morning.
The Blues head to Ireland next weekend for a week of preparation, which includes a fixture against UCD in Dublin.
