Crawley Wasps will be looking to build on last season’s promotion as they prepare for life in the National League.
They stormed to the Division One South-East title, finishing 11 points ahead of closest rivals Billericay.
And the club have moved to strengthen their squad with the signing of Rebecca Carter from Championship outfit Lewes.
She will join former Pompey players Ellie Russell and Millie Carter at the newly-promoted Sussex side.
The Wasps made history last term, reaching the fourth round of the FA Cup before eventually losing to Super League champions Arsenal.
Next season’s National League fixtures are due to be announced in July, when the Blues will discover when they come up against Crawley.
