Pompey returned to league form with a clincial display against struggling Bradford at Fratton Park.

Gareth Evans opened the scoring from the penalty spot following a foul on Oli Hawkins and Tom Naylor doubled the hosts' lead before the break.

Hope Akpan did pull one back for the Bantams after a drone-enforced halt to the contest, only Jamal Lowe to go straight up the other end and restore the two-goal advantage.

Ben Close then continued his hot streak in front of goal by adding a brace to complete a 5-1 thrashing.
