Pompey Women face Loughborough on Sunday (1pm kick-off) as they play their third home game in the space of a week.
And they will be looking to record back-to-back victories following a thrilling 3-1 victory over Chichester at the PMC Stadium on Wednesday night.
Katie James and Jade Bradley found the target with free-kicks in the first half and after Hannah Haughton had saved two penalties, Rachel Panting wrapped things up in stoppage-time.
Now Jay Sadler’s side come up against a Loughborough outfit that were unbeaten as they won the Midlands League last season.
The Vixens are currently sitting fifth in the National League standing on 30 points – eight more than Pompey – and enter the match on the back of a 2-2 draw with QPR.
They had managed to secure a two-goal advantage at Honeycroft, only for a second half comeback from the struggling hosts to ensure the spoils were shared.
Mel Burns returned to the Blues squad with a place on the bench against Chichester, so fellow goalkeeper Jaime Rowlands remains the only unavailable player.
Pompey were beaten 2-1 at Loughborough back in November, as they were undone by an unfortunate own-goal.
And you can see if they are able to avenge that result when the sides face off at the PMC Stadium (PO3 5LY) on Sunday.
