Rachel Panting bagged a brace as Pompey Women secured a 2-0 victory over Loughborough at the PMC Stadium.
Both goals arrived in the first half, as the Blues beat higher-placed opposition for the second time in succession.
Jay Sadler made one change from the side that saw off Chichester on Wednesday evening, as Caitlin Collighan replaced sister Alex.
Katie James was first to go close for the hosts with an effort from long-range that fizzed narrowly past the post.
Foxes goalkeeper Molly Reeve was being kept busy and made saves to deny Jade Bradley and Shannon Albuery.
But Pompey were handed an excellent opportunity to break the deadlock when Albuery was brought down in the box and PANTING made no mistake from the spot.
And they doubled their advantage before the break, as Reeve took a poor touch and PANTING nipped in to slot home.
Laura Steele finally had a shot on target for the visitors late in the half, although it was a comfortable save for Hannah Haughton.

Pompey were not content with their two-goal lead and set about trying to extend it following the restart.
A Bradley strike from the edge of the box was well saved by Reeve, while Albuery’s curling effort clipped the outside of the post.
Collighan then drew another save from Reeve with a shot from 20 yards, as the Blues took advantage of some sloppy play from their opponents.
Albuery was trying her best to get on the scoresheet, sending one attempt narrowly over and also just failing to reach Panting’s low ball across the box.
Haughton then did brilliantly to keep out Steele’s goal-bound free-kick at the death to preserve Pompey’s clean sheet.
