Pompey Academy are back in FA Youth Cup action this evening, with a second round tie at Cheltenham.
The winners of the Whaddon Road contest – which starts at 7pm – will be at home to Arsenal in the next stage of the competition.
A 5-1 Fratton victory over Hereford last month saw Pompey progress, while the Robins narrowly beat Eastleigh.
The Blues triumphed 2-0 when the sides met in the league earlier in the campaign and Mark Kelly is looking forward to the latest encounter.
Pompey’s academy manager said: “It’s an important competition for us and we’ve enjoyed some big games in the past few years.
"Cup competitions are always great because they add a different element to the season."
“We went up to Liverpool last season and lost with the last kick of the game to a side who went on to lift the trophy.
“It provides a good test for the boys to see where they are. We’ll have to make a step up against Cheltenham after beating Hereford and both teams will be doing everything they can to get into the third round.
“They’re in the same league as us, so we’ve played them on a few occasions and know what they’re all about.
“We’ll need to produce a professional performance and work hard, trying to maintain our usual high standards.
“Cup competitions are always great because they add a different element to the season and you’re always looking to go on a run.”
Supporters making the trip to Cheltenham can buy tickets from the turnstiles, priced £5 for adults and £2 for concessions.
