Pompey Women are on the road today, as they visit the AJN Stadium to face Keynsham in the National League (2pm kick-off).
It is their first game for a fortnight after wet weather saw last Sunday’s home clash with Gillingham postponed.
And Jay Sadler’s side will be looking to bounce back from a 4-1 league defeat to Oxford in their last outing.
Their next opponents have not had the start they were hoping for after winning the Division One South-West title last term.
Keynsham are currently rooted to the foot of the table, having failed to collect a single point from their four fixtures.
The sides are meeting for the first time since last year’s National League Plate contest, when an early Katie James goal was not enough to prevent a Pompey defeat.
A header from Kerry Bartlett and long-range Ellie Curson strike ensured the lower league outfit caused an upset.
Supporters travelling to the AJN Stadium (BS31 2BE) to support the Blues today will be able to buy tickets on the gate.
