Pompey made it two wins from two in the Leasing.com Trophy by seeing off Norwich's youngsters.
The hosts included four teenagers in the starting line-up, but it failed to stop them recording a comfortable 3-1 victory.
Ellis Harrison headed home an early opener and debutant Josh Flint added a second goal just before the break.
