Kenny Jackett has rung the changes for today’s Trophy clash with Norwich U21s at Fratton Park.

Just five players remain from the side that beat Crawley on home soil in the opening group match 11 days ago.

Alex Bass, James Bolton, Sean Raggett, Leon Maloney and Ellis Harrison keep their place in the starting line-up.

Teenagers Josh Flint and Eoin Teggart are both handed senior debuts, while Joe Hancott – who became the club’s youngest ever player in this competition a couple of years ago – also plays.

A fit-again Oli Hawkins makes his first appearance of the season, with Anton Walkes and Andy Cannon also returning.

Ryan Williams – who has been out injured since returning to the club over the summer – is named among the substitutes.

Paul Downing, Brandon Haunstrup, Tom Naylor, Ben Close, Gareth Evans and John Marquis are the players to make way.

Pompey: Bass; Bolton, Hawkins, Raggett, Hancott; Walkes, Cannon; Maloney, Flint, Teggart; Harrison
Subs: McGee, Downing, Burgess, Close, Williams, Pitman, Marquis
