The latest Pompey Lottery jackpot winner was delighted to scoop £7,250 in last week’s draw.
Derek Pearce has been a member since 2014 and scooped the multiple rollover prize with the numbers 1, 4, 16 and 21.
And having supported the Blues for more than 70 years, he is looking forward to seeing the football season resume as soon as possible.
Mr Pearce said: “I’m suffering from football withdrawal symptoms! I can’t wait to take my seat in the South Stand again.
“I have followed Pompey since 1949 and I think my first game was against Arsenal in Division One, when we had more than 40,000 inside Fratton Park.
“I’ve been there through thick and thin, and all the ups and downs. I was there for the FA Cup final and what an achievement for the club to be saved by its loyal fans.

“I can assure you that the money will be put to good use – half will go to the family to help them through these troubled times and the remainder towards a cruise at Christmas. Play up Pompey!”
Pompey keeper Alex Bass was tasked with ringing Derek to inform him of the jackpot win.
