Pompey and Salford City are set to battle it out in the Leasing.com Trophy Virtual Final.
As a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Leasing.com Trophy final is currently postponed alongside all EFL matches.
The situation is being kept under constant review, with matches only returning when it is safe to do so.
Together with the EFL, Leasing.com and EA, we are helping to bring a new experience to the homes of Pompey and Salford fans, with the help of a couple of familiar faces.
The Virtual Final will be played in a 1v1 format, with first-team players Steve Seddon and Ibou Touray representing the respective clubs.
While the Leasing.com Trophy final itself may have been postponed, the virtual event will provide engagement for supporters to live out a virtual matchday in the safety of their own homes.
Output will be shared across Sky Sports, EFL, Portsmouth, Salford City and Leasing.com media channels, offering the game to football fans across the country in the absence of any live sporting fixtures.
