Pompey Launch Flexi-Season Ticket

Find out how you can watch Blues during the 2020/21 campaign

10 August 2020

Following consultation with the Tony Goodall Fans’ Conference and Heritage & Advisory Board, Portsmouth Football Club will be offering a flexi-season ticket for the 2020/21 campaign.

There is the likely prospect of some Fratton fixtures taking place behind closed doors and/or with a reduced capacity, therefore Pompey are offing a financially flexible ‘base’ membership.

By joining the £25 flexi-season ticket scheme, existing season ticket holders can ensure they are able to watch selected matches, while also securing the ‘right to retain’ their existing seat for the following campaign.

Benefits of a Flexi-Season Ticket
- The ‘right to buy’ tickets for home games played with a reduced capacity on a rotational basis
- The ‘right to retain’ your seat for the 2021/22 season, while having no obligation to attend matches for the 2020/21 season
- Group yourself with family and friends to ensure you attend the same games together
- An exclusive pin badge

The flexi-season ticket ensures that fans will not have to part with a large upfront payment while there is no guarantee of when – or how many – supporters can return to football grounds.

Instead, they will have the opportunity to buy match tickets on a fair and equal basis while the Fratton Park capacity is reduced.

Fans will be asked to select a group along with other people in their ‘friends and family’ network, with games allocated to each group on a rotational basis.

Cost of a Flexi-Season Ticket
The flexi-season ticket – which is available to existing season ticket holders only – is priced £25 for adults.

Junior supporters (those aged 17 and under) will pay £10, while it is just £5 for those aged 10 and under.

Once on the scheme, flexi-season ticket holders will have the ‘right’ to purchase tickets at an individual match ticket price.

Match Ticket Prices
Match ticket prices will be frozen at the 2019/20 advance sales rate of £24 for adults, £18 for seniors (65+), £16 for young persons (18-22), and £7 for juniors (17 and under).

Ambulant and wheelchair matchday tickets remain at £16 and £15 respectively, which includes a carer if on the highest rate of DLA or PIP.

The club will have the flexibility of balancing the price should fans be able to attend more matches if government restrictions are eased.

How do I buy a Flexi-Season Ticket?
Flexi-season tickets will go on sale to existing season ticket holders only from 10am on Monday, August 17.

They will have until 11.59pm on Sunday, September 13 to secure their flexi-season ticket.

Supporters will be able buy their flexi-season ticket online here and are able to use any credit currently in their account.

Alternatively, they can also call 0345 646 1898 (option one) or visiting the ticket booth behind the Fratton End.

Fans who buy in person should respect social distancing measures and wear a face mask to protect staff and fellow supporters.

We would strongly advise all supporters to pay by credit/debit card and avoid cash purchases if possible.

Information on how flexi-season ticket holders can buy tickets for individual matches will be announced in due course.

Additional Information
Groups will be allocated games in accordance with the stadium capacity and the government guidelines at that time.

The allocation of stands and seats will depend on the capacity restrictions and it is, therefore, unlikely that supporters will be able to sit in their usual seat during the 2020/21 season.

If capacity restrictions ease, then the club have the flexibility to adjust the price of matchday tickets for flexi-season ticket holders.

In the event of flexi-season ticket holders opting not to buy tickets for games they are allocated, then these seats will be redistributed to other groups, as well as members.

Please note that only existing season ticket holders will be able to purchase a flexi-season ticket for the 2020/21 campaign.

The club will soon be announcing a membership scheme, allowing supporters who are not flexi-season ticket holders the chance to attend games.
