Pompey Women make a long awaited return to National League action when they host MK Dons at Westleigh Park this afternoon (2pm kick-off).
It is the first competitive fixture for the Blues in six weeks after the season was put on hold due to the lockdown.
Their last game was back at the start of November and resulted in a narrow defeat to Crawley Wasps.
The visitors took an early lead, but Pompey fought back to secure all three points, courtesy of goals from Becki Bath and Ava Rowbotham.
This will be the first time they have faced MK Dons since a 4-0 triumph at Stadium MK last term.
Jade Widdows both opened and rounded off the scoring on that day, with Rosie McDonnell and Katie James also on target.
Meanwhile, Widdows also netted in most recent home clash with today’s opponents – which was her first goal in a Blues shirt.
Strikes from Katie James, Alex Collighan and Rachel Panting secured another 4-0 success at the PMC Stadium.
MK Dons have won five out of their seven league games this season, defeating the likes of Crawley, Keynsham and Gillingham.
They currently sit second in the standings, two places and the same number of points above the hosts.
Tickets are available to buy at the Westleigh Park turnstiles this afternoon, with the option of contactless or cash payments.
Supporters are advised to download the NHS track and trace app in advance to save time when entering the ground.
There will be discounted entry for Pompey flexi-season ticket holders and Havant & Waterlooville season ticket holders.
