Pompey are heading back to Wembley in April to defend the Leasing.com Trophy.
They secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Exeter at Fratton Park in the semi-finals after scoring twice in stoppage-time.
All the goals came towards the end of the contest, with Jake Taylor's opener quickly cancelled out by Marcus Harness.
But Christian Burgess inadvertently found his own net to put the visitors on top, only for Cameron McGeehan to level for Kenny Jackett's side and John Marquis to head home a last-gasp winner.
