Cameron McGeehan returns to the Pompey starting line-up for this afternoon’s clash with Sunderland.

He replaces Ben Close in the centre of midfield in the only change from the side that won at Lincoln earlier in the week.

Christian Burgess keeps his place in the centre of defence, meaning he brings up 200 appearances for the club.

Former Blues loanee Chris Maguire starts for Sunderland, who are sitting fifth in the League One table.

Pompey: Bass; Bolton, Burgess, Raggett, Seddon; McGeehan, Naylor (c); Williams, Cannon, Curtis; Marquis
Subs: MacGillivray, Whatmough, Brown, McCrorie, Close, Harness, Harrison
