Nelson Travels The World In Memory Of Former Pompey Women Player

Money is being raised for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

10 February 2020

Nelson has been embarking on a world adventure to raise money in memory of former Pompey Women player Amy Swallow.

Amy sadly passed away in November 2010 following a battle with cancer.

She also played for Gosport Borough and Southampton Saints during her football career.

Nelson is travelling the world via Super Yacht thanks to sisters Nicole and Laura, who are asking for donations to The Royal Marsden.

The loveable Pompey mascot has already visited Gibraltar, Antigua and Barbuda, as well as various other Caribbean locations.

After a year of travelling, the cuddly toy will be auctioned off for the charity, which raises funds to support world-leading cancer centre The Royal Marsden.

You can donate via the Nelson’s World Adventures JustGiving page and follow his journey on Instagram.
