Pompey Women will be competing in the Lee Rigby Memorial Cup.
The annual event takes place at AFC Portchester on Saturday, May 23 and sees a select group of Blues and Rangers legends facing off.
But Pompey Women have also been invited to take part this year and will kick-off the event against opponents who will be confirmed in due course.
The event raises money for the Lee Rigby Foundation, which works to provide a support network for bereaved military families, veterans’ families and serving military families through respite therapy in whatever form works for those affected.
As well as the match itself, the day will also include plenty of other entertainment, from marching bands to opportunities to meet the star players who will be taking part.
