Tickets are selling well for Pompey’s Emirates FA Cup clash with Barnsley at Fratton Park.

Around 7,000 seats have already been snapped up for the fourth round contest against Championship opposition on Saturday, January 25 (3pm kick-off).

Season ticket holders’ seats are no longer reserved and any that remain unsold will be released for sale to members from 9am tomorrow (January 15).

The general sale period will then commence from 9am on Thursday, January 16.

Kenny Jackett’s side have seen off Harrogate Town, Altrincham and Fleetwood to get to this stage of the competition.

Their Yorkshire opponents – who could hand a start to former Fratton favourite Conor Chaplin – won at Crewe in the third round.

Season ticket holders who secured their seat before 5pm on Tuesday, January 14 will have the game uploaded onto their season card. If they buy after this point, then they will receive a paper ticket.

All other tickets will be posted out, available for collection or can be printed at home.

There is a £1 charge per booking for tickets bought online or over the phone and an additional £1 charge for postage.
