Pompey have no new injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s clash with Sunderland at Fratton Park.

Kenny Jackett will have almost a fully-fit squad to select from ahead of a contest between two of League One’s in-form teams.

But his squad will certainly be tested during a busy period of games that sees them competing on three fronts.

The Blues boss said: “We’re looking okay and I don’t think there are any problems from Tuesday’s game.

"There are a lot of games through January and February, so we will need everyone through that period and beyond."

“We’ll be selecting from the same squad we had for Lincoln and that’s positive for us. We’ve got good competition for places at the moment.

“There are a lot of games through January and February, so we will need everyone through that period and beyond.

“Bryn Morris is still out, but he’s someone with an incredibly high work-rate, who’s trying to get to a level where he can deal with the rigours of professional football.”

Jackett made three signings early in January and is not expecting to be busy ahead of the transfer window closing.

He said: “There’s nothing pending – in or out. If something happens between now and 11pm on Friday we’ll see, but it looks like being a quiet period.”
