Pompey have signed midfielder Cameron McGeehan on loan from Barnsley for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.
The 24-year-old was part of the Tykes squad that secured promotion to the Championship last season.
Blues boss Kenny Jackett said: “We’re delighted to sign Cameron. He’s still young, but has a lot of experience.
“He enjoyed a really successful season with Barnsley last year and so we’re really pleased to add him to our midfield.”

McGeehan progressed through the ranks at Norwich and signed for Luton in 2015 following some successful loan spells with the Hatters.
He made more than 100 appearances in his various stints at Kenilworth Road – scoring 31 goals – and then moved on to Barnsley.
The former Northern Ireland youth international was a regular member of the side that finished as League One runners-up last term.
