Steve Seddon has a 100 per cent Pompey winning record to try to maintain.
Since arriving on loan from Birmingham earlier this month, the full-back has been involved in four victories.
He has played a key role in three-point hauls against AFC Wimbledon and Bolton, as well as cup defeats of Fleetwood and Walsall.
Seddon has made a big impression with his precise left-footed deliveries and is pleased with the start to his Blues career.
He said: “I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s a good place to be and since I’ve been here we’ve won every game, so it’s a nice feeling.
“When I wasn’t playing at Birmingham, I made sure to stay on top of my fitness, so I could hit the ground running if I did go out somewhere.
"It’s a good place to be and since I’ve been here we’ve won every game, so it’s a nice feeling."
“I’m happy that the gaffer’s thrown me straight into the side and I’m feeling positive ahead of Saturday.
“It would be perfect if we could win every game from now until the end of the season – that’s probably not going to happen, but we’ll give it a good go!”
Seddon will look for a fifth straight success when Pompey host Barnsley in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup this weekend.
He said: “It wouldn't be the biggest upset if we won on Saturday because I don’t think we’re too far off that level.
“I was a West Ham fan growing up and remember the run we had in 2006 when we got to the final against Liverpool.
“That was a big FA Cup memory, but then my first experience of playing in it last season wasn’t so good.
“We lost to Plymouth with a goal in the 94th minute when I was at Stevenage and that was a tough one to take.”
