Whatmough Starts Against Scunthorpe

Team news for Leasing,com Trophy tie

Jack Whatmough starts for Pompey in tonight’s Trophy quarter-final tie against Scunthorpe.

The defender makes his first appearance for the senior side in almost 12 months following a serious knee injury.

Kenny Jackett has made six changes from the side that narrowly won at Bolton in the league at the weekend.

James Bolton, Sean Raggett, Cameron McGeehan, Marcus Harness and John Marquis all retain their place.

Craig MacGillivray returns between the sticks, while there are also recalls for Brandon Haunstrup, Ben Close, Ryan Williams and skipper Gareth Evans.
