With many activities unable to take place this year, Pompey in the Community would like the city, and wider community, to collectively walk, run, cycle or swim 1,898 miles.
The challenge will start on Saturday, August 1 and run until Monday, August 31 – and is not just for young Pompey fans!
We would like parents, grandparents and friends to sign up and have the whole community to take part.
This is a collective effort, meaning we’re not asking you to individually walk 1,898 miles! Each participant’s miles will be calculated together to hopefully achieve our goal.
We need to act in accordance to social distancing rules and continue to be sensible at this time, but getting outside, even for 10 minutes, is very good for maintaining good health – physically and mentally.

During the challenge, we will regularly share positions and rankings via our social media. We would love you to also share your efforts and see your photos.
