Pompey centre-back Christian Burgess selects some of his bests and worsts...
What is the best game you have been involved in?
I’ll say the 6-1 victory against Cheltenham when we won the title. It was a breeze really and we could enjoy the amazing atmosphere before looking to see how the other teams did.
What is the best goal you have ever scored?
It was a header for Peterborough against Carlisle in the FA Cup. It was the late winner and I’d already scored earlier in the game.
Who is the best player you have appeared alongside?
It’s probably between Adam Webster or Ben Gibson, who have both gone on to play in the Premier League.
Who is the best player you have come up against?
Callum Wilson, when he was playing for Coventry and I was at Hartlepool. He was just so sharp and a really quick mover.
What is the best thing currently on television?
I’ll say Fleabag. It’s hilarious – you’ve got to watch it.
"It’s probably between Adam Webster or Ben Gibson, who have both gone on to play in the Premier League."
What is the worst thing about being a footballer?
Injuries – I’ve been fairly lucky with them, but every player just wants to be out on the pitch.
What is the worst game you have been involved in?
I’ll say the Stevenage game in the season we went up. It’s the first time I’ve ever been dragged off at the break.
Who is the worst dressed player in the Pompey changing room?
Oli Hawkins tries too hard and his trousers never fit him – they always come up to his shins.
What is the worst food to eat?
Any animal product.
What is the worst thing that is currently on television?
Any ‘celebrity’ reality show grinds my gears.
