Pompey fans can book their very own place ‘in the crowd’ at Fratton Park for the play-off clash with Oxford on Friday, July 3… in the form of a fan cut-out!
The concept has proved successful around the world and despite games taking place behind closed doors – and following discussions with the Tony Goodall Fans’ Conference – you can still make your presence felt as Kenny Jackett’s side attempt to win promotion to the Championship.
The club have teamed up with ‘The Football Company’ to give supporters the opportunity to have their own recyclable, waterproof cut-out of themselves displayed proudly in the stands at Fratton Park for the highly-anticipated fixture, which is being screened live on Sky Sports.
And while nothing can replicate the feeling of being there in person, a cut-out goes some way to showing your support for the players, while following the game from afar.
If you would like to have your image displayed at Fratton Park, here are the simple steps you will need to follow:
- Visit Pompey’s ‘Fans at the Game’ website on your mobile device
- Agree to the T&Cs
- Use on mobile device native browser (Apple/IOS Safari/Android Chrome)
- Allow your mobile device camera to take a picture (make sure you are wearing your Pompey shirt!)
- Make sure you fit in the silhouette
- Approve your picture
- Make your secure online payment
The cut-outs are priced £25 per fan – with all profits helping to support the club’s academy – and will be delivered to Fratton Park and installed in the stands.
Supporters will receive a confirmation email, with details of how they can choose to have the cut-out delivered to them after the game (postage charge applies).
