Ben Close will be missing for Pompey’s League One clash with Accrington at the weekend.
The midfielder has failed to recover from the ankle injury he suffered against Peterborough last Saturday.
There are no other fitness concerns and Kenny Jackett can welcome one of his defenders back to the team.

“Christian Burgess is back from suspension, which is a boost for us, and we don’t have any new injuries from Tuesday.
“Bryn Morris played in a friendly game earlier in the week, although it’s probably a bit too early for him and there are other midfielders to get past.”
