Pompey Women have bolstered their squad with the signing of Ava Rowbotham.
The midfielder has featured nine times for Championship side Lewes this season, with seven appearances from the bench.
She has progressed through the ranks at the Sussex club, having previously featured for their academy and development sides.
Rowbotham said: “I’m delighted to make the move to Portsmouth and I’m really looking forward to getting started.
“With the long run of matches ahead, it’s a great opportunity to get game time and to help the team achieve their goals. I am looking forward to competing at this level and pushing myself every week.

“All the staff and the girls have made me feel really welcome and it’s a set-up I can’t wait to be a part of."
Blues boss Jay Sadler added: "Ava is a player we have been monitoring for some time and I'm delighted to add her to our squad.
"She's been on the periphery at Lewes, in the Championship, this season and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to bring her to Pompey.
“Ava is a very technically sound player, with good vision and a strong engine. Not only that, she's humble, determined and eager to develop.
"These attributes complement the current group and will aid us in our ambition to push forward.
“This addition strengthens our squad and provides us with competition in the centre of the pitch, as well as much-needed depth, during a time where fixtures are coming thick and fast.”
