Pompey are delighted to welcome the latest batch of under-9s players to the club’s academy.
The youngsters will train two evenings a week with the Blues when the new season starts, as well as playing games and taking part in an education programme.
Academy manager Mark Kelly said: “It’s always exciting to get a new group of faces and I enjoy the vibrancy they bring.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time for the boys and their families as they begin working towards that end goal of becoming a professional footballer.
“I always find that time travels incredibly fast in football – blink and suddenly they’re under-12s, so it’s important to enjoy this period.
“They will need to work as hard as they can with the coaches and on behalf of all the academy staff, I’d like to welcome the boys to Pompey.”
Pompey Academy would like to thank Aquacars, Milkwood Care, Jackson Groundworks, Utilita and Best 4 for their continued support.
