Ben Close returns to the Pompey starting line-up against Plymouth at a wet and windy Home Park this evening.
He replaces Ronan Curtis – who is away on Republic of Ireland international duty – in the only change from the side that beat Ipswich in the FA Cup.
Andy Cannon has recovered from the groin strain picked up at Portman Road, while Sean Raggett and Tom Naylor have both shrugged off knocks.
There is also a welcome return to the bench for Jack Whatmough, who has been out since the end of last month with a hamstring injury.
Pompey: MacGillivray; Johnson, Raggett, Nicolaisen, Pring; Naylor (c), Close; Williams, Cannon, Harness; Marquis
Subs: Bass, Mnoga, Downing, Whatmough, Morris, Hiwula, Harrison
