Pompey have been drawn at home to National League side King's Lynn Town in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The tie will be played behind closed doors at Fratton Park on the weekend of November 27-30.
It will be the first ever competitive meeting between the sides, with the visitors – who are based in Norfolk – only formed in 2010 following the winding-up of King's Lynn FC the previous year.
Ian Culverhouse's men caused an upset to reach this stage of the competition, with Sonny Carey's late strike enough to secure victory at League Two outfit Port Vale on Saturday.
The Linnets are currently sitting 17th in the highest tier of non-league football after securing the National League North title last term.
Pompey's assistant manager Joe Gallen said: "It's a team we've never played before, so it's certainly an interesting tie and one we'll look forward to.
"We're pleased to be at home and certainly won't underestimate our opponents. Hopefully we can produce a good performance and make it through to the next round.
"We're pleased to be at home and certainly won't underestimate our opponents."
"We played Altrincham at this stage of the competition last season and have taken on other non-league sides during our time at the club.
"They're always difficult contests and this one will be no different, so we'll have to play well when the game comes along in a few weeks."
Pompey made it through to the second round with a 3-2 victory at Ipswich, courtesy of an extra-time winner from Sean Raggett.
