The FA has provided an update for ‘non-elite’ football in England following the UK Government’s announcement on new national Covid-19 restrictions.
The new rules mean that all training sessions and matches from Thursday, November 5 to Wednesday, December 2 will be suspended.
This means that this Sunday’s Hampshire Cup final will be postponed, as well as fixtures against Oxford United and Watford.
Chairman Eric Coleborn said: “Obviously we’re disappointed with the decision, but it’s one that had to be made. The health and safety of our players, staff and supporters is the most important factor.
“We look forward to hopefully welcoming supporters back to Westleigh Park as soon as we can.”
