John Marquis has been nominated for the PFA Bristol Street Motors League One Player of the Month award for September/October.

The Pompey striker has been in fantastic form lately and currently tops the division's goal charts with eight strikes.

That impressive tally includes braces in victories over Sunderland, Lincoln and Northampton.

Marquis has been shortlisted alongside Peterborough trio, Jonson Clarke-Harris Siriki Dembele and Joe Ward, Charlton's Ben Amos and Lincoln's Jorge Grant.
