Pompey’s charge towards securing a League One play-off spot has stumbled slightly in the past week.
A run of four successive victories was followed by a home defeat to Burton and then Tuesday evening’s goalless draw at Crewe.

The midfielder said: “We’re definitely looking to return to winning ways after a couple of disappointing results for us.
“There aren’t too many games remaining this season now and we need as many good results as possible.

“Every team goes through sticky patches at certain stages and it’s just important that they don’t last for too long.
“It’s going to be a tough match at MK Dons, but we’re aiming for three points and will then try to carry on from there.
“Our away record has been really good overall this season and hopefully that can continue over the next few weeks.
“They’re all big games – that’s going to be the case at this stage when you’re chasing promotion – and Saturday is no different.
“It doesn’t really matter whether you’re at home or on the road – every single point you collect is important.
“We’ve got a strong squad here, so we’ll keep working hard and then see where our results can take us.”
