Harry Jewitt-White has been called up to the Wales U18 squad for an international friendly with England.
The 17-year-old academy midfielder – who was recently on the Blues bench for the first team at Fleetwood – will hope to be involved in the contest at Newport on Friday, September 3.
The news comes off the back of teenage keeper Toby Steward recently taking part in an England goalkeeper’s development camp.
"It’s great to see them gain international experience and that’s something that can only benefit them in the future."
Professional development phase coach Liam Daish said: “It’s nice to see some of our players are getting the recognition they deserve.
“Opportunities have opened up for Toby and Harry, and they’ve been able to grab them with both hands.
