Portsmouth Football Club will continued to offer a number of food and drink options for the match against Shrewsbury this evening (7.45pm kick-off).
This includes the relaxation of the ground regulations to permit supporters to bring in their own cold food and non-alcoholic drinks in sealed containers for the first three home fixtures.
In addition to the kiosks inside the ground, an outside catering van – serving fast food using the finest ingredients – will be located in the Victory concourse behind the Fratton End, along with a sweet shop.
This can be accessed by all home supporters before the game, as well as by those sat in the Fratton End at half-time.
There will also be a fast food van located behind the North Stand. This can be accessed by supporters sat in the North Stand, both before the game and at half-time.
These external catering units will not be serving alcohol this evening, but draught beer will be available inside the kiosks, with a range of alocoholic and soft drinks available from the Victory Bar, which will be open from 5pm.
The outside catering units – which will be open from 5pm – and the ability for supporters to bring in their own food are in place due to continuing staffing challenges in the hospitality industry and also to try to alleviate long queues for the safety of all our supporters.
The food kiosks inside the ground will be serving cold sausage rolls (with a vegan option available) and chocolate brownies from the award-winning Piglet’s Pantry, along with a selection of crisps, confectionary, draught beer, and a range hot and cold drinks.
For the first three games, fans will also be permitted to bring in their own cold food, as well as non-alcoholic drinks in sealed containers (no glass or cans).
Please note that the outside catering food units behind the Fratton End and North Stand will be in place throughout the 2021/22 season.
