Ryan Tunnicliffe has been recognised for a promising start to his Pompey career.
The midfielder – who signed over the summer after leaving Luton – has been nominated for Football League World’s League One Player of the Month award for August.
He provided assists for Lee Brown, John Marquis and Marcus Harness before scoring the winner in a midweek clash with Shrewsbury.
Tunnicliffe is shortlisted alongside Bolton’s Oladapo Afolayan, Wycombe’s Joe Jacobson, Sheffield Wednesday’s Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Sunderland’s Ross Stewart and Morecambe’s Cole Stockton.
