Danny Cowley has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for November.
After a draw with Cheltenham, he guided Pompey to four successive victories over Wycombe, AFC Wimbledon, Lincoln and Gillingham.
It saw the Blues climb back up the standings and revitalise their push for a spot in the top six ahead of the busy festive period.
Cowley will have to see off competition from Sheffield Wednesday’s Darren Moore, Wigan’s Leam Richardson and Oxford’s Karl Robinson in order to land the prize.
The winner will be announced on Friday morning and is decided by a judging panel that includes former Barnsley boss Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL communications director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
