Pompey To Launch Digital Matchday Magazine

Online offering will be free for fans, with programmes no longer being printed

14 January 2021

Pompey’s new digital matchday magazine is the perfect way to get in the mood for the big match.

Starting with the AFC Wimbledon game on Tuesday, January 19, the club will be launching an online programme – and best of all, it’s absolutely free.

The 34-page publication will include a variety of exclusive columns, features and interviews to read ahead of kick-off.

With games continuing to be held behind closed doors, Pompey have made the difficult decision to stop printing matchday programmes for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.

The club committed to continue providing a physical publication for supporters last summer when it appeared as though fans would only be absent from grounds for a few games.

However, with supporters unlikely to be allowed to return to Fratton Park for some time, it is no longer financially viable to keep printing programmes.

Supporters who ordered a copy of the programme for the postponed match against Swindon on Boxing Day have already been refunded.

Those who took out a full season subscription or bought a December bundle will receive a pro-rata refund. The club will contact you by email to arrange for this money to be refunded via a bank transfer.

Portsmouth Football Club would like to thank our partners at Bishop Printers and The Graphic Design House for their continued support during these difficult times.

Printed programmes for previous games this season, as well as signed copies and cover sheets, can still be purchased from the memorabilia store.
