Gassan Ahadme has already made quite an impression on his new club.
Named ‘Trialist H’ at Havant & Waterlooville recently, the young Moroccan trialist netted a second half hat-trick.
He added a brace in a friendly played at St George’s Park last week, then notched two more at Bristol City.
Danny Cowley has moved quickly to snap him up on a season-long loan deal from Norwich and Ahadme is delighted to make the switch.
The 20-year-old said: “It’s been really good from the first day because all the team and staff have given me confidence.
“Going into a team in the middle of the season can be difficult, so being here from the beginning has been nice.
“New players have been coming in and I’ve already been able to build some really nice relationships with them.

“The manager has told me what he’s looking for me to do on the pitch and the staff have given me a lot of advice on what I do best and what I’m doing wrong.
“I would describe myself as a hard-working player, who can do different jobs. I like getting into the box and trying to score goals – that’s the most important thing.
“I don’t like setting targets, but the only thing I can say is that I will always work hard and give 100 per cent.”
Ahadme certainly enjoyed his prolific start to life in a Pompey shirt at Westleigh Park less than a fortnight ago.
He said: “It was my second day at the club after training on the Friday and then I got the chance to play 45 minutes when we were 2-1 down.
“To score a hat-trick and get the win was nice. I felt the love of the fans after the game because they were asking me for photos and wishing me the best.”
