New Pompey chief executive Andrew Cullen recently held his first meeting with The Tony Goodall Fans' Conference and promised that continued engagement and communication is a priority going forward.

He promised that the popular video updates previously provided by Mark Catlin would remain a feature.

Cullen said: "Mark did a great job of providing clear channels of communication and accessibility. I'm conscious of the recent history of the football club and know the need for fan engagement.

"I’ve subscribed to this at previous clubs and I come from a marketing background, so know how important communication is.

“There are some great groups set up and I'm keen to look at new ways to do things, too. I’ll keep doing the video Q&As and want to bring someone from different parts of the club in to do them alongside me so we can have a different focus each time."

Alongside chief commercial officer Anna Mitchell and supporters' liaison officer Johnny Moore, Cullen spent 90 minutes discussing a wide range of topic, including player sales and recruitment, ticketing arrangements, the future of the academy, the recent training ground purchase and stadium updates, with special emphasis on disabled facilities.

The Tony Goodall Fans' Conference, which has been running since 2011, is an umbrella group attended by heads of the various supporter groups and they meet every other month.
