Three teenage Pompey players have been selected for international duty.

Third year scholar Eoin Teggart has received his first call-up to the Northern Ireland U21s set-up, with the winger chosen to be part of a 22-man training squad.

Academy goalkeeper Conor Manderson will also travel to Belfast to take part in a five-day training camp with Northern Ireland’s U19 squad.

"It’s always nice for players to have that international recognition and it’s something they should enjoy."

And midfielder Harry Jewitt-White has been selected to be involved in a Wales U17s training camp.

Professional development phase coach Liam Daish said: “It will be a brilliant experience for all three of them.

“It’s always nice for players to have that international recognition and it’s something they should enjoy.

“I’m sure they’ll all learn from going away with their countries and we wish them the best of luck.”
