Danny Cowley will have two extra players at his disposal for Sunday’s crucial final game of the season against Accrington.
Pompey know that victory against Stanley at Fratton Park will be enough to guarantee a play-off spot.
Jordy Hiwula is ready to return after seven weeks out with an ankle problem, having not featured since the Ipswich clash in March.
Meanwhile, Jack Whatmough has now completed a four-match ban and Cowley is delighted to have both men available.
The Blues boss said: “It’s obviously good news to have Jack back again. He’s been outstanding since we’ve arrived and you always miss your best players.
"I always talk about having a sexy bench. I want to look behind me during a game and wonder how I can use them on the pitch."
“It’s also huge for us to have Jordy available – it’s certainly another really big positive ahead of the Accrington game.
“He’s trained all week and looks super sharp, adding to the attacking players we already have in the squad.
“Jordy has worked hard with the medical team and wants to put his body on the line for this football club.
