Pompey will learn their Papa John’s Trophy second round opponents when the draw takes place on Saturday.
It will be screened live on Sky Sports Football following the conclusion of the televised League Two match between Port Vale and Bradford (12pm kick-off).
Danny Cowley’s side finished runners-up in Southern Group B and will travel to either Exeter, Swindon, Leyton Orient or Cambridge in the last 32.
Second round ties are scheduled to take place in the week commencing November 29.
