Pompey have been drawn at home to League Two side Harrogate Town in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The tie will be played at Fratton Park on the weekend of December 3-6, with a confirmed date and ticket details to be announced in due course.
The only previous competitive meeting between the sides took place in the first round of the same competition two years ago.
A power cut in the local area meant that Wetherby Road clash was delayed by almost an hour and when the action began, the hosts took a shock lead through Mark Beck.
But Brandon Haunstrup and Ronan Curtis both netted before the break to ensure the Blues would claim a 2-1 victory to progress.
A goal from Marcus Harness on Saturday saw Pompey beat Harrow Borough to reach this stage, while Harrogate – who are currently sitting seventh in the fourth tier – won 2-1 at home to Wrexham.
