Prostate Cancer UK's March Coming To Fratton Park

Join a Football March and help beat prostate cancer

31 August 2022

Prostate Cancer UK are once again hosting a series of epic marathon marches this September as the football community unites against the most common cancer in men – and the first ever south coast leg kicks off at Portsmouth FC on Friday, September 23.

Pompey supporters are invited to sign up to a football march and join fellow fans from across the region at Fratton Park as they walk side by side on a 26.2-mile walking challenge, standing against the most common cancer in men.

The leading men’s health charity will visit iconic football venues across the nation, also marching across Greater Manchester, the West Midlands and London.

Hundreds of football fans will come together for this unforgettable event, marching, sharing stories and fundraising to help save men's lives.

Here’s why you should get involved: Prostate cancer affects one in eight men in the UK. That’s thousands of dads, grandads, partners, brothers, uncles, sons and mates. That’s our fellow Pompey fans.

By taking part in a Football March and raising money, you’ll help fund lifesaving research into earlier prostate cancer diagnosis, better treatment and essential support services for men.

Join us and Prostate Cancer UK and walk a marathon this September. Bring your mates, visit iconic football stadiums and help beat prostate cancer.

Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive a free t-shirt to wear proudly on your march, and Prostate Cancer UK will support you with top fundraising and training tips along the way.

It will be an unforgettable experience where you’ll meet like-minded football fans, have fun and help save men's lives.
