Matchday Guide: Pompey v Bristol Rovers

Pompey in action at Fratton Park for the second time this week when they host Bristol Rovers on Saturday (3pm).

National rail strikes mean there are no trains running into Fratton or any Portsmouth stations on the day of the game and supporters will need to find alternative modes of transport.

The fanzone will be back in full swing, with an inflatable goal and table football among the activities on offer.

Plus DJ Liam Howes will be back spinning the decks and getting everyone in the mood for the big game.

The fixture is supporting the fundraising efforts to build a statue of Pompey legend Jimmy Dickinson at Fratton Park.

Bucket collections will be held ahead of the game, while fans can also make donations online here.

You can also make sure you are kitted out for the League One contest, with all three kits now available to buy in the club or from the online store.

The kiosks inside the ground (not including Milton End) will be offering a special early bird offer of a pie and a pint for just £7.95 from when the turnstiles open at 1.30pm until 2pm.

Home fans will be able to visit the Victory Bar from midday and we would like to remind everyone that Fratton Park is a cashless stadium.

Tickets for the contest are now extremely limited, so book your seat online here to make sure you do not miss out.
