Pompey Women are delighted to announce the signing of Leanne Bell.
The forward joins the Blues after leaving Watford at the conclusion of the 2021/22 campaign.
She initially joined the Hornets from Crystal Palace back in 2017 and made more than 50 appearances during her time there.
The 24-year-old won promotion to the Championship during the curtailed 2020/21 season, then made six outinga during an injury-hit campaign in the second tier.
She has featured against Pompey a number of times, even scoring in the dramatic 5-4 loss in 2019.
Blues boss Jay Sadler said: "I’m very happy to bring Leanne to Pompey. She’s a player I have a lot of admiration for, having come up against her on numerous occasions.
"Her wealth of experience will play an important role within the current group, having featured at both Championship and National League level in each of her past five years.
"She’s fitted in really well with the current group already, but that’s no surprise given her infectious and warming persona.
"On the pitch, she’s a player that excites me. Her vision, directness and link breaking qualities will add a different dimension to our attacking line."
