The Blues did not cause Carl Rushworth too many problems either, though, and Sean Raggett felt more was needed to ensure the game did not finish goalless.
He said: “It’s a bit frustrating because I don’t think we quite got our game-plan right and we probably went a bit too direct.
“But this is a new group and there are still a lot of relationships developing, so the more time we spend together, the better understanding we’ll have.
“After conceding three goals at Sheffield Wednesday last week, it was nice to keep a clean sheet. It’s just unfortunate that we couldn’t find a winner.
"The squad is coming together and I think we’re in a stronger position than we found ourselves at this stage last season."

Raggett required an injection to feature at Hillsborough and is prepared to play through the pain barrier.
He said: “I feel good. I know I missed a chunk of pre-season, but physically I’ve kept myself in decent shape.
“Sunday morning was a tough one last week, but I can go through a bit of pain. There’s no worries about that.
“It hasn’t been affecting me too much and I just love being out there on the pitch. Everyone here would feel the same.
“You’ll often get a few players carrying knocks during the season, but you want to be helping the team.”
