Ronan Curtis is the only member of Pompey’s 2019 EFL Trophy-winning side still playing at Fratton Park.
And he was back at Wembley when they returned for the following season’s delayed Wembley showpiece.
The Republic of Ireland international is now hoping to make it a hat-trick of Blues appearances at the national stadium.
So Curtis is looking forward to taking on in-form League Two side Stevenage on Tuesday evening for a place in this term’s Papa Johns Trophy quarter-finals.
He said: “It’s a big test against a side who are in great form in their league, but we have to focus on what we can do best.
“I’ve been lucky enough to play at Wembley twice in this competition during my time at the club – with one win and one loss.
"One result can lift the confidence of everyone, so hopefully we can get that against Stevenage and go from there."

“There’s a great team here and we can’t put our finger on why it’s not quite working for us at the moment in the league.
“The Accrington game was postponed and it always feels weird when you’re not playing at the weekend because we wanted to get over the disappointment of Wycombe.
“We know that Stevenage are flying and have good individual players, while also being strong as a collective.
“But it’s at Fratton Park and we’re always feeling confident in front of our fans. They push us on and hopefully that will be enough for us to get the win.”
